The Invisible Clock is an assistive device that works great for timed voiding programs, medication reminders, meeting timer, exercising and literally hundreds of other activities when a flexible timer is needed. The unit has 12 daily alarms that can be set for specific times. This provides you with flexibility in alerting you or your child to perform a specific task when a specific interval is not practical. Alternately, the unit allows you to choose a specific interval when it is more convenient. In fact, you can choose both. The 12 alarms are automatically organized by the time of day, so it's easy to keep track of your programmed alarms and easy to check, erase, or set additional alarms. The Invisible Clock uses a vibration system (similar to that of the common pager) that is private yet easy to feel. You can even adjust the vibration or beep to low for a gentle and quiet reminder, or to medium or high for a stronger alert. The single AAA battery is easy and inexpensive to change. Affordably priced, easy to program and use. Includes belt clip and battery.
The Invisible Clock is a great alternative to a wrist watch and is the most "customizable" unit that we have found on the market - allowing up to 12 specific alarm times or up to a 999 hour auto reset countdown mode! The vibration is only 6 seconds versus about 20 seconds for the watches, but most children will still respond to this length of vibration. The unit must be worn next to the body to be felt (e.g., waist band)- which is a disadvantage for a number of young children. Also, children are more likely to lose a device clipped to the waist, than a watch worn on the wrist.

5 stars, That reminds me...
By Texas Momma from College Station, Texas on 2011-03-25
Pros: Quality Construction, Low Power Consumption, Great size, Has an alarm setting, Discrete, Less expensive than watch, Easy To Setup, Many vibration options, Uses 2 AAA's easy replace, Easy To Use, 12 daily alarms
Cons: Not water proof, Easy button pushing, Only one function atatime
Best Uses: Daily Reminders, Daytime Enuresis, Keeps you on schedule
We use this product for my son who has daytime enuresis or daytime wetting accidents at school. He is 7 years old and together we made a little pouch for the alarm (buttons and screen totally out of sight, and not distracting) and attached it to a piece of elastic waistband. He wears it under his shirt and it is set to vibrate at certain increments during the day where there is a natural break. (eg, before lunch, before gym...) It works well because an inanimate object is reminding him to go use the restroom, instead of a person whom he feels may be "nagging" him constantly. It took out that power struggle, and He doesn't take it personally, and it actually has relieved a certain amount of anxiety to all parties. One improvement that we did make, is that it was easy to bump the rubber buttons while moving around, thus setting off a counter or other option rather than the alarm setting. So we took an exacto knife to the buttons and shaved them flat to the alarms plastic case. It didn't ruin the aesthetics of the alarm, and we can still easily push the buttons when needed, without them ALWAYS being pushed. Another aspect of this alarm opposed to other alarms was the price, it was very affordable, much less than the watches. It has up to 12 alarm settings each day, and comparable watches with similar features were at least twice as expensive. (An expensive watch is NOT what I want to worry about my 7 year old fiddling with or losing at school) Also, the 2 AAA batteries are easy to change out, unlike the specialized, expensive and short lived cell batteries necessary for the watch. We haven't had to change them out yet, and it is set to vibrate for 20 seconds, 9 alarms a day. We have been using this product for over three months, and while it doesn't eliminate all problems (he still has to listen to the vibration alarm and if he doesn't he has an accident), it has eliminated the excuse that he didn't know it was time, because he didn't feel the body cues. Another option that we occasionally do, is change the location he wears the device from his waist to his upper arm or ankle. We simply sewed another piece of elastic waist band material into a small band and attach it around the band with the included plastic belt clip, it changes things up a bit.

5 stars, It's amazing for workouts!!!!
By Fitness freak from Ohio on 2011-01-11
Pros: Quality Construction, Low Power Consumption
Cons: Hard To Set Up
From lifting weights to hardcore aerobic interval exercises, time is always a factor. For strength, a longer rest period is required but for growth, keeping track of rest and active times are essential. Over three months, I lost 12 pounds of bodyfat by simply deducting 15 seconds from my rest periods. Its a pain to get set up sometimes, but once its going, I just hit the red button after every set and when it vibrates, its time to get back to work. Its small and never gets in the way. Its been dropped a few times and the battery cover falls off when it hits the ground sometimes. Basically, I'm beating this thing up every day for 2 hours a day. It takes it in stride. YES, everyone that works out should own one and YES, I would definitely replace mine asap if I lost it.

4 stars, [...]
By Ecclesiastes from Biloxi, MS on 2009-01-08
Pros: Good Value
Cons: Expensive
Best Uses: ADD task reminder
The product is definitely worth the cost. I just wish I didn't need it so bad. I use the clock prevent me from getting stuck on one task when I should move to the next. The vibrate setting protects my privacy. I'll have more uses for it as I develop them.

3 stars, stopped working
By Jen from Pa on 2009-01-03
Pros: Great when it worked
Cons: Didn't last very long
Best Uses: Dog walk reminder
It was really useful to remind me and the kids to let the dogs out but it only lasted about 2 months (if that). I tried replacing the battery but it still didn't work.

2 stars, A good trainer but easily falls apart
By a mom from Albany, NY on 2009-01-03
Cons: Low Quality
Best Uses: As a reminder for toiltet
It was a great watch for reminders to use the toilet! It truely worked when little else did! I bought two watches (within a month of each other) both lost their "cool" look since the band that sits on the face of the watch fell off. My son is careful and it was not from hard use...it was just from daily use. This was disappointing and in hindsight, I would have bought any old watch with a timer (say timex) that I know would have lasted.

5 stars, Wonderful product
By Mom to 9yr old from Cincinnati, Ohio on 2009-01-02
Pros: High Quality, Easy to use, Good Value, Durable
Cons: No cons for us
Best Uses: On a constant basis
Our son uses his "beeper" on a daily basis. It is very easy to use. We can easily turn it off for night time. We use it to remind us when we are outside the home of his time to cath as well as his time for meds. It has multiple uses which is a very good tool. There is nothing we dislike about it.
