Children love this basic, brightly colored and well-designed alarm from Malem. A small, ultra lightweight alarm is comfortably worn on the nightwear top close to the shoulder. It weighs less than one ounce including batteries and even glows when sounding! The small sensor is attached to the outside of underwear where the first drop of urine is expected. When moisture is sensed, the alarm sounds to alert child and parents. Comes with an easy to use clip on sensor. Included with every alarm are instructions for use, charts to track progress and an extra set of batteries.

As many others, I had tried everything for my 8 year old son. My doctor had recommended an alarm over a year ago, but I decided to hold off a while longer. I kept waiting for him to grow out of it. Also, I was skeptical that an alarm could really work as a permanent solution. Two weeks into using the alarm and we are well on our way! My only complaint is the large pin is hard to close and we have to bend the straight piece slightly.

My son just turned 7 so we bought this alarm. Prior to the alarm, my son was an extremely heavy sleeper and would be soaked most mornings. During the first 17 days, he was dry 4 times; the other nights my husband woke him and he was peeing less and less each time. I am thrilled to say that he has been dry since January 16 and sometimes may get up in the middle of the night or at least has the ability to feel that he has to go and holds it. I wish we bought it sooner!! My recommendation to other parents is to get it if your child is age 4 and up. I wish my pediatrician recommended this and didn't keep telling me that he'll grow out of it-if I didn't get this alarm he would never have grown out of it and I am sure it would have affected his esteem, not to mention that his 4 and 5 yr old siblings are dry thru the night. Hope others have the same success we do!!

We used it over a period of 5-6 weeks. And now we are done! My daughter used it and she is a very hard sleeper. The first few times using it, I had to wake her up. But, then, little by little, she got up on her own and learned the control she needs to get through the night without wetting the bed. I recommend it highly.
