SOUND AND VIBRATION IN ONE ALARM! Everything you need, now in one compact alarm. The Malem ULTIMATE combines light, sound and vibration to help even the deepest sleeper wake. A selectable combination of sound and vibration suits the needs of the child. A selection switch can be easily set to sound only, sound and vibration or vibration only.
Compact and lightweight (less than two ounces including two AAA batteries) with all the advanced features and advantages of the world famous Malem alarms. In addition to vibration the different colored alarms each provide a different tone (purple, blue, pink). Perfect for families treating more than one child at a time.
The alarm is connected to a small clip-on sensor which detects moisture and attaches to the outside of any close fitting underwear for boys or girls. No metal clips or snaps to come undone during the night. Sensor contacts are within the clip so skin contact or sweating will not trigger the alarm. The alarm makes the same sound continuously until the sensor is removed, allowing you or your child sufficient time to effectively respond to the alarm. This easy-clip sensor is included with each alarm.
Also included with every alarm are instructions for use, charts to track progress and batteries. The ULTIMATE alarm uses inexpensive AAA batteries that last up to 10 times longer than standard "button" batteries found in nearly all other bedwetting alarms.

Our 5 year old son couldn't make it through the night without wetting his bed. He would also occasionally lightly wet during the day if he was distracted. The Malem has stopped that. The first few days he used it we had to get up about 5 times and he would wet himself each time and the alarm would sound. After that it got better very quickly and within a couple of weeks it was only once a night and he could do it himself with no wetting or very little wetting. Its been about 10 weeks since we started using it and rarely does the alarm sound. He still has to get up once a night to pee but he does it by himself and doesn't wet his underwear at all. He hasn't been able to go 3 weeks without an accident so we haven't stopped using it completely but he is very close. This thing has been a miracle device! We took the advice of others and had him wear a pull-up over his underwear so we don't have to clean up after every accident.

Pros: Make the investment
Cons: Not trained after 3 mths
Best Uses: Child friendly product
I highly recommend the alarm that includes both multiple sound alarm and vibration. My son is not completely nighttime trained after 3 months. We are both disappointed however, he is wetting less and getting up on his own now. Life is much easier without nighttime diapers - I never thought this could be true! I was hesitant to make such a big investment but I am glad I did -it is worth the money. I would also buy a compainion book on nighttime wetting.
