My son has been in pull-ups at night since he was successfully potty-trained 100% at 4yrs. during the day. He is an extremely sound sleeper. I tried everything prior to this alarm==setting my alarm to wake him up several times during the night, sleeping outside his room, making sure he didn't have liquids after dinner, etc. Nothing else worked & I didn't want to have to resort to medication. He was disappointed in himself and was unable to attend any sleepovers. I mentioned this situation at the last 3 well-checks with his pediatrician, at which time all the above was recommended. Finally, the literature on this alarm was given. I guess we hit the magic number with his age. This alarm worked night one and by night 3 he was independently getting the alarm re-set after waking to go. By night 8 he was only getting up once to go and was dry in the morning. This alarm allows for minimal laundry and gives the child confidence! It also allows me to continue to sleep knowing he's got it. We think in the next few nights, he may not need it! He's finally feeling the sensation during the night which he could never wake enough to notice. Yay Malem!
