Pharmacist Pick What's this?
I recommend Millennial crutches over traditional crutches for two reasons. First, they are ergonomically designed to take the stress out of your neck, shoulders and armpits and secondly, they feature a shock absorbing/power assist feature, which increases your mobility speed by 10%. The ergonomic handgrips are designed at an angle to reduce wrist strain and help the hands stay securely in place.

In-Motion Pro Crutches work with you and your body with an ergonomic, comfortable crutch design that helps the patient maintain proper posture, relieve damaging stress, and reduce the overall chance of secondary injury.

The In-Motion Pro Crutches have been designed from the ground up to address the problems associated with traditional crutch use. The various features work together to provide for a comfortable experience. These features include the large underarm cradle, an ergonomic grip, a very popular folding design and a shock absorbing/power assist feature. With tips that last 35% longer than traditional tips and the strut made from aircraft grade aluminum, these crutches are truly made to last. The extended range of the crutch also fits a larger range of heights than any traditional underarm crutch.

  • 5 stars, Great Product
By Snowtracker from Dighton, Ma on 2012-04-10
    Pros: Stylish, Comfortable, Quality
    Cons: none
    Best Uses: Everywhere
These are high quality crutches that are easy to use, adjust, and the spring action takes a lot of pressure off the hands and arms. I find them much more stable using stairs and stepping off curbs than regular crutches. I like the ability to fold them up for traveling.

  • 3 stars, I sent these back
By Char in Oregon from Bend, OR on 2012-02-23
Pros: I like the spring assist, Relieve wrist pressure
    Cons: Made my thumbs hurt
I like the idea of ergonomic crutches, but it moved the pressure from my wrists to my thumbs. The pads on the hand grips are too hard and I got blisters after just a few minutes of use. If you want to use these, find some somewhere and try them first.

  • 5 stars, Ergonomic, comfortable, easy to use. A+
By Coach John from E.Haven Connecticut on 2012-02-02
Pros: Easy to use, Must buy Comfortable, Ergonomic, Wish I found them sooner, Well Worth Every Penny
I've been on crutches or a cane on and off for years, these are the most comfortable ever. Hand grips fit like a glove, spring loaded pegs help catapult you forward with ease, the single rod design makes them a lot less bulky. These crutches really give you stability walking and have no problem allowing you to keep all of your weight off of your entire leg with ease and comfort. I have thrown away all of the crutches I've accumulated over the years, I could never use them again.

  • 5 stars, Move faster and easier!
By Brian from Just Walkers on 2011-12-14
    Pros: Ergonomically Designed, Foldable, Spring-assisted
    Cons: Heavy
Best Uses: Long term use, Easy to store
What is the big deal about our spring assisted crutches? If you are asking yourself this question it means you have never been on crutches before. Imagine that every time you took a step your hands, wrists, under arms and shoulders absorbed the impact of your entire body weight. Combine that stress to an already uncomfortable injury that is trying to heal. Now you have to walk for 4-6 weeks under these conditions. Sounds awesome right? That describes the experience of using traditional crutches. No wonder no one likes them. The Millennial Medical In-Motion Pro spring assisted crutch alleviates this issue. First of all these crutches are ergonomically designed for the user. But it is that spring assistance which literally saves your body from all those aches and pains. The spring absorbs the negative impact as you rest your weight on the crutch and then releases it back to the user in the form of positive kinetic energy. The crutch is actually helping you when you are moving and increases your mobility speed by 10%. In the end what does this mean? The In-Motion Pro helps conserve your energy, you need that for healing, and reduces the time on crutches getting from place to place. Now that does sound awesome.

  • 3 stars, Heavy
By Carsonmom from new York city on 2011-05-26
    Pros: Heavyhard
These crutches are for people with good upper body strength. They take time to get used to. They keep your posture better and are more stable than regular crutches. The spring load is very cool and the fact that they fold is great. I really wish they made them lighter and kept the spring load. I use them for short distance crutching and also, I can stand comfortably with them for a longer time. I have been non weight bearing so maybe when I can weight bear these might be easier. Ps I am a woman and very strong upper body but these are still heavy.

  • 4 stars, Like traditional crutches better.
By Julio from Illinios on 2010-12-03
    Pros: Collapsible
    Cons: DANGEROUS
    Best Uses: Collapsable
Best feature of crutch is it's collapsability. You can fold crutch over making it easier to store in a car or at a ball game. Worst feature is the form fitting hand grips. Feel like your hand could slip off, blisters your palms, hurts your thumb. The front of the under arm part of the crutch sometimes gets caught on clothing near arm pit before it can be fully seated (under your arm). The springs also make things a little sketchy. Nice looking crutch, collapsible, but not worth the extra cost compaired to traditional crutches.
