This organic cotton pad starts with a high quality Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified soft, organic cotton top and bottom. This cotton is unbleached, so it is not a bright white like our other mattress protectors, but rather creamy beige. The cotton top is so comfortable you can easily sleep directly on the mattress cover, or use a fitted sheet overtop. The waterproof layer is a proprietary product called DrySleep™ which contains no latex, Phthalates, vinyl or PVC and is Greenguard® Indoor Air Quality Certified, Greenguard® Children & Schools Certified and Greenguard® Select Certified for Home and Healthcare. This means they are tested by a third party for low chemical emissions, so you know you are getting the safest product for your family. The most revolutionary part of the DrySleep™ technology is its breathability, allowing air to pass through while keeping dust, water, and allergens out without the use of harsh chemicals. This keeps your baby cool and comfortable all night long. The waterproof barrier is sandwiched between two layers of cotton, keeping the mattress pad comfortable and preventing it from slipping on the mattress. It also features a fitted, elastic edge with 4 way stretch to keep the mattress cover on securely. The pad is machine washable and dryable and made in the U.S.A.
