Two layers of organic cotton, on the top and bottom of this Mattress Pad, were used to create the luscious, soft feel of this protector. To prevent moisture from reaching your baby sized mattress, this protector pad utilizes DrySleep™ technology. DrySleep™ technology is special in that it is breathable. As a breathable mattress pad, this NaturePedic protector lets your baby’s body heat pass through it (unlike pads made of rubber or vinyl) while still staying 100% waterproof – all so you can have the driest, most comfortable mattress possible. The waterproof barrier is a very thin, medical grade film that stops water in its tracks, preventing damage to your mattress. As a GREENGUARD INDOOR AIR QUALITY CERTIFIED® mattress protector, this product has been tested and passed GREENGUARD&apso;s rigorous third-party tests to ensure that this item will not interfere with indoor air quality and that it does not contain latex, Phthalates, vinyl or PVC. The cotton used to make this product has been certified as organic using the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) to ensure that it is indeed organic.
