Details: The PARI PEP S (Positive Expiratory Pressure Device) is a unique respiratory device which creates resistance pressure during exhalation. Positive Expiratory Pressure is a type of therapy that creates resistance pressure during exhalation. This allows you to clear your airways of sputum, phlegm and unwanted fluids. It is commonly recommended for patients diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis or lung diseases with secretory problems.
You operate the PARI PEP as you would any other nebulizer mouthpiece. The PEP S has two therapeutic options - it can be used remotely, using outside air to flow through, or it can be attached to a PARI LC Nebulizer and help direct aerosolized medication to your lungs. It has eight resistance settings, covering a large expiratory flow range that offers pressure of 10-20cm H2O. It is easy to use, lightweight, dishwasher safe and boilable.
