This Drive Bariatric Patient Lift features a rechargeable battery to enable you to use this lift when an outlet is not within reach. The battery charges using a regular AC outlet. The battery can't be removed. However, the lift will not operate while plugged into an outlet. The cradle on this patient lift has a 4-point hook up, and features 360 degree rotation to make it easier to position the patient after he/she has been lifted. To make transferring patients easier, the boom on this patient lift has a high lift range (74.5" Max) to help you get patients up to higher surfaces. Also, this patient lift has 4 casters: two 3" casters in the front and two 4" casters in the rear. This lift's jumbo actuator pump has a bariatric weight capacity of 600 lbs., and it also features an emergency button that switches it to manual mode to safely lower patients.
