This is the 3M Cavilon No Sting Barrier Film - Case of 100.
The 3M Cavilon No Sting Barrier Film is an alcohol-free, sting-free barrier film intended to protect intact or damaged skin from urine, feces, other body fluids, tape/ adhesive trauma and friction. The film is composed of a unique 3M terpolymer that forms a breathable, transparent protective coating on the skin. The polymer is dissolved in a solvent system that makes the product fast drying and non-sticky. It also contains a plasticizer that assists in forming a continuous film even when applied over an area that bends or creases.
It is non-cytotoxic and hypoallergenic which allows it to be effectively used on either intact or damaged skin.
Suggested Applications of the 3M Cavilon No Sting Barrier Film:
The Barrier Film is used in dressing and device securement, I.V. related conditions, for pressure ulcers, as well as in skin care and wound care.
