The Dolomite Alpha Rollator addresses the needs of anyone who doesn't have enough hand strength or dexterity to use a standard hand grip or brake handle. This rolling walker is great for people with arthritis, neurological disorders, Parkinson's, and stroke survivors. The hollowed forearm pads provide support to the arm, all the way from elbow to wrist - perfect for users who experience pain in their forearms.
A variety of adjustments can be made to angle, height, and distance for the forearm pads and brake handles, allowing for maximum comfort. This rollator is specifically designed to adjust exactly to the user's needs - absolutely not part of it is unchangeable. The handle height adjusts from 37.5" - 47", and the rotation of the arms adjust 20°.
Constructed from a foldable, welded steel frame, this rolling walker has been redesigned wider and deeper to accommodate the higher center of gravity caused by the arm supports. The flip up seat allows for better gait training, and offers a resting area for when users get tired. The rollator also includes a removable basket with handle, an Allen key for on-the-go adjustments, and a magnetic security latch to hold the walker in place during use.
The Alpha rollator sports large 8" wheels - perfect for indoor or outdoor use, including grass, pavement, and carpet. This arm walker also features curb climber technology which assists the back wheels when the front of the walker is lifted.
The Alpha Basic uses traditional looped brake handles turned vertical - perfect for arthritic fingers or anyone who needs extra support to find a good walking position. The Alpha Advanced has a cushioned handle on a ball joint, which allows the user to adjust the angle of the handle as necessary. Even the operating direction of the brakes can be changed to accommodate any user - braking can be accomplished by pushing or pulling, depending on the joint setting.
