This unique bedwetting alarm allows you to record your own sounds or personal message. Press the switch inside the battery compartment to record up to 10 seconds of sound. Whistling, tapping sounds, and voice commands are generally superior to music. When the alarm senses moisture, the sound will play (loop) continuously until stopped. The vibration option is not available when using the custom recording.

If you don't want to use a custom recording, the bedwetting alarm also features a built-in tone. The tones are louder than the recorded sounds, especially music. The alarm will also vibrate when using the built-in tone.

The Malem Ultimate 1+ is slightly thicker than other Malem Ultimate alarms.
