Manufactured by Medline, Puracol Plus Collagen Dressings are made of 100% pure native collagen (no fillers added) with a triple-helix format called the MicroScaffold. These collagen dressings are indicated for use on:

• Infected wounds


• Pressure, venous, diabetic ulcers


• Partial and full-thickness wounds


• Ulcers caused by mixed vascular etiologies


• Burns


• Donor sites


• Surface wounds, abrasions, traumatic wounds healing by secondary intention and dehisced surgical wounds

Puracol Plus Ag+ dressing helps restore chemical balance in the wound bed. Collagen dressings facilitate the give-n-take magnetism of a healing wound, supporting normal fibroblast activity while distracting negative forces like MMP's and Elastase.

These biodegradable, highly absorbent collagen sheets convert to a soft, gel, which is then absorbed by the wound. Puracol Plus silver dressing is easy to apply and can be cut to fit any size acute/chronic wound with light to heavy exudate.
