The Medline Extra Absorbent Sterile Abdominal Pads are non-adhesive and latex-free. This wound dressing is constructed with a soft nonwoven outer layer that quickly wicks fluid to a cellulose center. The thick cellulose layer quickly absorbs and laterally disperses fluids to prevent pooling.
The Abdominal Pad’s hydrophobic back impedes strike-through and its edges are all sealed to prevent linting, thus providing increased patient safety from wound contamination.
